Open to both men and women, Return to the Throne is a luxury Egyptian adventure that takes us from the pyramids of Cairo to the temples of Aswan and Luxor, while spending five unforgettable nights sailing down the Nile aboard a private Dahabeya (boat).

Together, we'll explore ancient wonders, walk through sacred temples, stand before the Great Pyramids, visit the Valley of the Kings, and experience Egypt in a way few travelers ever do.

What to expect

Coherence retreats is where travel meets transformation.

Our retreats blend intentional workshops and connection with epic experiences all over the world - from hiking ancient sites and swimming under waterfalls, to glamping in the desert or soaking in natural hot springs.

Expect a mix of wellness practices like meditation, movement, and breathwork, alongside exploring wild landscapes, bonding with like-hearted women, dancing, laughing, and fully living.

Each retreat is uniquely curated based on the land, the hosts, and the group energy.

The full itinerary is shared with attendees about 2 months before the retreat - but know this:

Day 1: Welcome to Egypt

Day 3: Temples & Sailing

Day 4: A Full Day on the Nile

• Morning practice and breakfast

• Sail through some of Egypt's most stunning landscapes

Day 5: Edfu & Luxor

Meet your hosts

Kimberly Kennedy - @itskimberlykennedy

Kimberly Kennedy is the Founder and CEO of Coherence Retreats, a global retreat company at the intersection of transformational travel, personal growth, and community. A lifelong traveler, entrepreneur, and certified coach, she spent nearly a decade building her career in the corporate world before following a deeper calling into facilitation and transformational work. Drawing from extensive training in coaching (ICF), breathwork, meditation, hypnotherapy, NLP, energy work, and women's leadership, Kimberly creates experiences that inspire women to expand their lives, deepen their connections, and step more fully into who they are.

Kristin Simon - @kristinsimon_ 

Kristin is a breathwork facilitator, Reiki Master, and retreat host passionate about wellness, connection, and soul-level transformation. With training in polarity therapy, human design, and breathwork, she brings warmth, humor, and holistic tools to help women come home to themselves. Her creativity shines through photography, social storytelling, and the way she holds space. At this retreat - her seventh with Coherence - expect powerful breathwork, grounding energy, and optional one-on-one energy healing, woven with love, realness, and curiosity.

🛂 Visa Requirements

U.S. citizens are required to obtain a tourist visa to enter Egypt. We recommend applying for an e-Visa online before departure, though visas are also available upon arrival at major Egyptian airports. The visa typically costs around $25 USD.

Travelers from other countries should check entry requirements based on their passport country before booking flights.

Your passport should be valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel dates.

Arrival & Airport Information

✈️ Please fly into Cairo International Airport (CAI).

Please do not purchase your flights until Coherence has officially given the green light to book travel!

We will provide detailed flight guidance, airport information, and transfer instructions closer to the retreat.

Arriving Early

We highly recommend arriving 1-2 days before the retreat begins if your schedule allows!

International travel can be unpredictable, and we've had guests in the past miss an entire day of a retreat due to flight delays, cancellations, or missed connections. Because this journey moves throughout Egypt, it's important that you don't miss any portion of the experience.

Arriving early gives you time to:

• Adjust to the time zone and reduce jet lag
• Recover from a long travel day
• Begin the retreat feeling rested and grounded

If you decide to arrive early, you can arrange your own transportation from the airport to your hotel. Services such as Welcome Pickups, hotel transfers, Uber, or local taxis are readily available.

Arrival Day Transportation

Airport transportation is included on Oct 4.

For guests arriving on retreat day, we recommend landing as early in the day as possible so you have time to settle in, relax, and prepare for our welcome dinner that evening.

There is no strict arrival time. Arrivals from the morning through early afternoon are ideal.

Transfers will be organised based on guest arrival schedules:

• If multiple guests arrive around the same time, we'll arrange a shared transfer.
• If your arrival time differs significantly from others', we'll arrange an individual transfer.

We'll do our best to accommodate everyone's travel plans and make the arrival process as seamless as possible.

Departure Day

Airport transportation is included on Oct 11.

There are no scheduled activities on departure day, so you are welcome to book your flight home at whatever time works best for you.

Transportation Support

Once everyone has booked their flights, we'll collect arrival and departure details and coordinate all included airport transfers accordingly.

Extending Your Stay

If your schedule allows, we highly encourage extending your time in Egypt before or after the retreat.

Egypt is one of the most fascinating destinations in the world, filled with ancient temples, rich history, vibrant culture, and unforgettable experiences. Whether you want to spend extra time exploring Cairo, visiting additional historical sites, or simply soaking in the magic of the country, an extended stay can be incredibly rewarding.

We'll also share recommendations for hotels, activities, and places to explore should you decide to continue your adventure.
